FAQs
Here are some of the most often asked important questions.
Please get in touch if you have a query not answered below.
What costs are involved in a kitchen project?
Designing, hand manufacturing and installing a kitchen requires a budget upwards of £25,000. Each project is priced according to the size, building materials, finishing, small fittings and whether you need appliances. We are happy to provide assistance if you prefer to source appliances yourself.
An accurate proposal can be presented once we have a clear vision of your particular requirements.
When do I need to pay?
After our consultation, we will prepare the kitchen drawings. At this stage we charge £150+vat, if you wish to take them away for consideration. This fee is deducted from the full cost when you proceed with the order. Plans can be reiterated up to three times.
At the point of order, a deposit of 50% is payable and the full remaining balance once the project is ready for installation/shipment.
How long does it take?
On average it takes 6-8 weeks for production and 1-2 weeks for installation.
Can we arrange separate installation?
It is preferable and recommended that we fit/install all kitchens, but you can elect another fitter.
Do you remove and dispose of the old kitchen?
We can oversee the whole project from start to finish by providing all trades, or we can work with your architect/builder/project manager and agree our role in your project.
How long is the kitchen guaranteed?
Our kitchens are carefully crafted to be enjoyed and admired for many years. In the unlikely event there is a problem with the kitchen, we will endeavour to rectify it within 5 years of installation.
Liability excludes situations of natural wear and tear, modification or accidental damage.
All hardware is as per manufacturers’ guarantees.
